Rhinoplasty Cost

If you want to undergo rhinoplasty, choosing the cheapest plastic surgeon will often result in more harm than good.

Dr. Fredric Newman has earned a reputation as a leader in rhinoplasty. At his practice, the procedure costs between $8,000 and $11,000.

What factors influence the cost of rhinoplasty by Dr. Fredric Newman in Darien, CT?

Three Major Factors that Affect Rhinoplasty Cost

How Much of a Change?

Of course, the cost of any plastic surgery is dependent on how radically you hope to alter your appearance. Minor adjustments will cost less than significant changes.

Open or Closed Rhinoplasty?

Dr. Newman prefers to perform closed rhinoplasty procedures, which cost less and produce less visible scarring. However, sometimes an open rhinoplasty is the better option for the patient.

Is This a Revision?

Dr. Newman regularly performs revision rhinoplasty in which he corrects mistakes made and harm caused by less experienced plastic surgeons. These types of surgeries are usually more complex, and therefore typically cost more.

The Average Cost of Rhinoplasty by Dr. Fredric Newman

Dr. Newman and his team are always professional and helpful. He not only improved the look, but also the function of my nose. Since my rhinoplasty, I breathe better and no longer develop sinus infections. I bumped my nose recently (years after my surgery) and he was great about seeing me and reassuring me. He cares about his work and patients, and has always been thorough and excellent throughout.

Financing Is Available

To help you cover the cost of rhinoplasty, we offer financing plans that allow you to pay for your treatment in installments. Many patients find this solution more practical and manageable than paying the fee all at once.

We offer 12-month, interest-free, no-fee financing plans.

The amount you pay monthly will depend on the total cost of your surgery, your credit rating, and the length of time you will need to repay the loan. For more information about financing, please contact us today.

Additional Considerations that Affect Rhinoplasty Cost

Health Insurance

Your health insurance may cover part of the cost of your surgery if the procedure is related to improving your breathing. Our insurance specialists will verify your insurance benefits. If your rhinoplasty is performed for purely cosmetic reasons, however, it will not be covered by insurance.

Anesthesia Fees

Different patients require different levels of anesthesia, which can cause the cost of surgery to vary. The anesthetic techniques utilized in your rhinoplasty will be determined based on your preferences, the amount of time your procedure will take, your medical history, and other factors. Anesthesia is one of the items Dr. Newman will discuss in your initial consultation.

Facility Fees

Choosing a third-party facility for your cosmetic surgery will result in facility fees that will raise the overall cost of your procedure. Undergoing surgery at our private, state-of-the-art surgical center in Darien, CT, can minimize these costs.

More Than a "Nose Job" Dr. Newman Applies Skill and Artistry to Every Procedure

While other surgeons may crudely refer to rhinoplasty as a "nose job," Dr. Newman prefers not to use that term because it doesn't convey the artistry, technique, and care that he applies to every one of his nasal procedures. You may be able to find a cheaper "nose job" somewhere else, but if you want high-end treatment and the best possible results, trust your care to Fredric Newman, MD, FACS, in Darien, CT.

To find out precisely what your rhinoplasty will cost, schedule an in-person or virtual consultation with Dr. Newman today. You can schedule a consultation by filling out our online form or calling (203) 656-9999.

Revision Rhinoplasty Cost

If you are the victim of a poorly executed "nose job" by a less experienced or less qualified physician, Dr. Newman is happy to help you achieve the natural appearance you want with a rhinoplasty revision. Over the years, Dr. Newman has corrected some very serious instances of malpractice, and it brings him great satisfaction to help his patients achieve a beautiful and natural-looking resolution.

Due to the complexity of correcting these botched plastic surgeries, revisions are usually more costly than initial rhinoplasties. However, in the case of a secondary surgery, it is especially important that you choose a highly qualified surgeon who won't cause additional damage. Dr. Newman has a reputation for excellence in correcting failed nasal surgery, whether the revisions are required for cosmetic or functional reasons.

Don't let financial concerns keep you from seeking the best care possible in situations like this. Our financing plans make it possible for most patients to afford revision rhinoplasty by Dr. Newman. To learn more about what a revision surgery will cost in your case, schedule a consultation with our team today.

Open vs. Closed Rhinoplasty Why Costs Differ

There are two approaches to a rhinoplasty procedure that Dr. Newman can take: open and closed. Both involve reshaping the nose by removing or augmenting cartilage and bone tissue beneath the skin. They differ in how the surgeon accesses the cartilage and bone:

  • Closed Rhinoplasty: Dr. Newman will operate through the nostril and make small incisions within the nose.
  • Open Rhinoplasty: Dr. Newman will make a small incision in the vertical strip of skin between the nostrils (columella).

Closed rhinoplasty has the major advantage of not resulting in any visible scars, but it also is the preferred choice because it is more affordable. The main reason closed rhinoplasty is offered at a lower price is that open rhinoplasty surgery takes longer to complete.

Despite the many advantages of the closed procedure, the open variety is still the better choice for some rhinoplasty patients, especially if they have a cosmetic concern with the tip of their nose. During a consultation at our office in Darien, Connecticut, Dr. Newman can recommend the type of facial plastic surgery that is best for you.

What About Non-Surgical Solutions?

Our practice in Darien, CT, offers multiple forms of fillers and injectables that can produce very minor alterations in the appearance of your nose.
