Lets first take a look at Dr. Newman’s background and the extraordinary credentials that place him at the very top echelon of his profession. I have been very fortunate. I have trained at some of the best programs with some of the best surgeons in the days of giants. I was fortunate to have trained at NYU when John Converse was still alive, the man who added the definitive 5 volume textbook of surgery at that time. Board certified Harvard and Yale educated, Dr. Newman, has held teaching appointments at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York Medical College, University of Miami Medical School, New York University Medical School, and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Newman’s first practice was with James W. Smith, author of another highly regarded plastic surgery textbook. He has also worked with Dr. Yves-Gerard Illouz, the surgeon who perfected liposuction, and he does also have the honor of being the plastic surgeon to the New York Rangers.
