An Internet screening consultation has been developed that assesses whether or not you are a good surgical candidate. This screening is especially useful for our out-of-town and international cosmetic surgery patients.

Realistic Expectations

To be considered a good candidate for nose surgery at The Aesthetic Surgery Center of Connecticut near New York, you need to show our rhinoplasty surgeon that you have realistic expectations about the procedure's results. Resculpting your facial features can have a profound impact on your overall appearance, but it can't change your life all by itself.

If you believe that rhinoplasty or any type of plastic surgery will solve all of your problems, you may not be a strong rhinoplasty candidate. Our skilled surgeon will encourage you to review your true expectations before undergoing nose surgery. A positive, healthy attitude towards rhinoplasty and its change to your external appearance (but not to your entire life) will improve the likeliness that you will be very pleased with your results.

General Health

To ensure that you will be able to handle the rhinoplasty operation and the post-operative recovery, it is absolutely necessary that you provide Dr. Newman with a complete medical history. If our knowledgeable rhinoplasty surgeon feels uncertain about the condition of your general health, he will ask you to obtain clearance from your internist. Being in a state of good health prior to your nose job will reduce your risk of complications.

Financial Readiness

The cost of rhinoplasty will depend on the complexity of your case. You should only schedule nose surgery at our Connecticut- and New York-area office after a rhinoplasty consultation with our skilled surgeon. Local patients can come in for an evaluation, and out-of-town patients can use our convenient Internet screening consultation.

The Internet Screening Consultation

A $100 consultation fee must be sent with your photos and forms. If our rhinoplasty surgeon feels that you are not a good candidate for a nose job, your money will be returned. If Dr. Newman feels that you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty, though, we will promptly e-mail you an estimate of the cost for your surgery.

Step 2

Your photos will help rhinoplasty surgeon Fredric Newman evaluate your case. Please send at least two images, one front view and one side view (up to 4 images possible). You can use this tool to send them or send the photos by mail.

Send your $100 consultation fee to our practice via US Mail, FedEx, or UPS to our New York- and Connecticut-area office. You can also call rhinoplasty surgeon Fredric Newman's practice at 914-723-0400 or 203-656-9999 to run your Internet consultation fee on a credit card. If you do not wish to send your photos and form over the Internet, please send the completed forms and photos to our office with the $100 consultation fee (payment will be applied to consultation fee if you are a good candidate; if not, it will be returned.)

Step 4

Our office will contact you with the results of your screening consultation.
