Internet Consultation

Because body contouring, breast surgery, facial plastic surgery, and other cosmetic options are not right for everyone, Dr. Newman carefully screens his patients to ensure that they are ready physically and emotionally. An Internet screening consultation has been developed to assess whether or not you are a good surgical candidate. Realistic Expectations

If you have realistic expectations and are in good overall health, you may be a candidate for one or more of the plastic surgery procedures Dr. Newman offers. The key to maintaining realistic expectations is to realize that, while plastic surgery can have a profound impact on your overall appearance, it can't change your life. As dramatic as the external effects of procedures such as facelift, liposuction, and breast augmentation are, plastic surgery is not a cure-all. Rather, plastic surgery should be a carefully planned step towards improving your appearance and self-esteem. If you come into surgery with a positive, healthy attitude, you are more likely to enjoy a satisfying outcome.

General Health

His reputation for exceptional care starts with the initial consultation because your safety and overall health are his top priorities. Dr. Newman wants to ensure that you will be able to handle the operation and post-operative measures. To assist with this aspect of your care, it is absolutely necessary that you provide him with a complete medical history. If there are any questions about the state of your general health he will ask you to obtain clearance from your internist. Being in a state of good health prior to cosmetic surgery will reduce the risk of complications.

The Internet Screening Consultation

A $100 consultation fee must be sent with your photos and forms. If Dr. Newman feels that you are not a good candidate for cosmetic surgery, your money will be returned. If Dr. Newman feels that you are a good candidate, we will e-mail you an estimated surgical cost. If you are interested in an Internet screening consultation with our plastic surgeon, please complete the following steps:

Step 1.

Completely fill out and submit the Online Consultation Form.

Step 2.

Your photos will help our plastic surgeon evaluate your case. Please send at least two images, one front view and one side view (up to 4 images possible). You can submit your photos here or send the photos by mail.

Step 3.

Send your $100 consultation fee to our Darien location via US Mail, FedEx, or UPS. You can also call the practice at 866-870-6066 to run your Internet consultation fee on a credit card. If you do not wish to send your photos and form over the Internet, please send the completed forms and photos to our office with the $100 consultation fee (payment will be applied to consultation fee if you are a good candidate; if not, it will be returned.)

Step 4.

Our office will contact you with the results of your screening consultation.
