Board-certified plastic surgeon Fredric Newman believes that establishing honest, open lines of communication with his patients is essential to achieving the best possible results through facial cosmetic surgery. From the initial consultation onward, he strives to foster a relationship of mutual trust and respect so that patients will feel comfortable asking questions and raising concerns, and he can address those questions and concerns with frank, plainspoken responses. This sort of doctor-patient relationship helps to ensure that patients go into procedures with realistic expectations and come out of procedures fully satisfied with their results.

The precise answer to this question will, of course, be different for each individual patient. However, there are general factors that will influence the longevity of results that all facial plastic surgery patients will want to bear in mind.

Are you a good candidate for facial plastic surgery? To find out for yourself, schedule your initial consultation with Dr. Fredric Newman today.

Patients will continue to age, and signs of age will continue to develop on the face. However, some treatments, such as rhinoplasty, are better immune to signs of aging.

There are ways that people can help to promote the longevity of their facial plastic surgery results, however. These include:
